Prince Alfred Old Collegians Football Club

29 Jul 2015

The Prince Alfred Old Collegians Football Club was foundered in 1926, with the aim of providing a game of football for old scholars of Prince Alfred College at the conclusion of their schooling.

In the sporting arena, the school is best known for producing a number of Australian cricket captains, namely Joe Darling, Clem Hill, Ian and Greg Chappell as well as a number of other Australian cricketers including Trevor Chappell, Rick Darling, Tim May and Greg Blewett.

The PAOCFC recently held its annual business lunch, where Greg was our keynote speaker. We could not have made a better decision to invite Greg to address our 180 guests.

Greg has the ability to read a crowd magnificently.  He knows when to tell a serious story and when to tell a funny story, the overall result being an outstanding and highly entertaining speech.

The attribute that will hold Greg in the highest esteem in my mind is that not only did he speak to, but he also engaged with our guests in a way that we have not seen at our lunches previously.

The lunch included well known South Australian business identities Rob Gerard from Gerard Industries and Glenn Cooper from Coopers Brewery who could not have been more complimentary about Greg, I had numerous people approach me after the event with comments like “that was the best I have ever heard”, and “how are you going better that one James?”

I have no hesitation what so ever to recommend Greg for any type of public speaking engagement.
